  1. PLAYER CAP

social media.

Ticket sales close at 8:00pm on Thursday 24th September 2026, or when the cap
is reached, whichever comes first. A waiting list will be run through the
Facebook event.

  1. ARMY COMPOSITION
  • Armies must be 2000 points and Battle-Forged, built in line with the official

Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition rules.

  • Use the latest published points values and army composition rules as at the

rules cutoff. It is your responsibility to check you are on current points.

  • Lists must be uploaded to Best Coast Pairings by 9:00pm, Thursday 24th

September 2026. Late lists incur -10 VP in round 1.

  • Rules updates, dataslates or points changes published after Monday 21st

September 2026 will NOT be used at this event.

  • Bring a printed or digital copy of your list. Opponents may review it at any

point.

  • TOs may review any list in a dispute. Illegal lists are handled case by case,

usually by removing the offending unit's ability to score.

  1. FORMAT AND SCORING
  • Round 1 pairings are random. Subsequent rounds are Swiss.
  • Pairings and scoring are managed through Best Coast Pairings. Both players

are responsible for checking the submitted score.

  • You will not be paired against the same opponent twice. If BCP does this,

tell a TO immediately.

  • Tiebreakers, in order: 1) total Victory Points, 2) opponents' average win

rate (strength of schedule), 3) head to head.

  • This event counts towards the King Beyond the Wall & Red October League

standings.

  1. MISSIONS, TERRAIN AND LAYOUTS
  • Missions, deployments and secondary missions are the official Chapter

Approved matched play missions for 11th Edition. Nothing is house-ruled.

  • All tables are 60" x 44" using the official Chapter Approved terrain layouts.
  • Layouts are fixed and published in advance: Round 1 uses Layout A, Round 2

uses Layout B, Round 3 uses Layout C. Missions and deployments are drawn on
the day as normal.

  • Terrain is set up per the layout and must not be moved unless both players

agree.

  • Agree terrain functions before deployment. Call a TO if you cannot.

  1. PAINTING AND MODELLING
  • Fully painted armies are encouraged but not mandatory. There is no scoring

penalty.

  • Conversions, kitbashes and third-party models are welcome where they clearly

represent the correct unit and are on correctly sized bases.

  • No proxies. A model must be recognisable as the datasheet it represents.
  • WYSIWYG is relaxed for wargear, but you must tell your opponent what each

model is carrying before the game.

Best Painted: lay your army out during lunch with your name displayed. Players
vote for their first and second favourite. Armies must be Battle Ready and
coherently themed to qualify.

BOTH players.
